Overview:- We are looking for a full-time, permanent Web Developer to support, maintain and enhance existing web and backend operation systems. This position will be located in downtown Chicago. The position requires solid development experience in .NET and Sharepoint technologies, including object oriented development. Responsibilities will include delivering and supporting applications involving collaboration, portals, enterprise content management, informational reporting, business intelligence, and backend system integration. - This position will involve working within a small technical team and interacting heavily with the business units, which requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to gather data from the business side and implement it into the system (content management). - This is a great opportunity to be involved in many exciting projects, including the implementation of a social media community platform, various on-line programs and webcasts and interfacing separate systems. Priority will be given to those candidates possessing experience working with Association Management Systems and/or within the Marketing, Publication and/or Media industry.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor or equivalent work experience in information systems or related field.* Object Oriented development and design (OOD).* Building web based systems with the Microsoft .Net technology stack employing the best practices of SOA architecture using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, with SQL backend databases.* Full lifecycle development methodologies with web based applications.* Integrating with backed operational and content management systems.* Microsoft Technology Stack including .Net Framework, C#, VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net* Microsoft SharePoint technologies MOSS 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, SharePoint Designer, Portals and Web Part Development* XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services, Silverlight, SharePoint MOSS and Designer* Web/Portal structure and design, development, content management, usability, and user experience interface design and navigation.* Business Reporting and Intelligence tools: Crystal Reports XI, Business Objects XI, Microsoft Reporting Services* Source management control, configuration and deployment process and products* Relational Database and SQL Skills* Microsoft SQL Server; Access, Visio, Word, & Excel* Problem solving, process improvement and business re-engineering methods* Organizational and analytic skills* Demonstrable end-user interface development skills and understanding of user centric design principles* Experience working on component based applications including web services, application integration, patterns, and data access development.* Microsoft Certification (MCSD/MCAD) preferred To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
