Experienced test automation engineer who has hands-on experience testing multi-asset front and Back Office derivative systems. Develop and execute automated test plans to ensure quality, scalability, reliability of derivative system and its interfaces with external systems. Interact with development team on functional design, automated test plans, defect and change control. Requirements3 years of Java coding skills. core Java (J2SE), collections, Multithreading and socket IO Linux. practical experience building/running systems on Linux platform including basic Shell/Perl Scripting Web based development skills using JSP/JavaScript In-depth successful software testing experience, with at least 1 year experience in testing Financial business applications that have a significant Front End (as well as back-end) component. Candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of functional and automated testing as well as working knowledge of SQL to mine production tables for suitable test data. It is desirable to have working knowledge of Exchange industry terminology & its associated systems. Candidate has developed test plans and test cases based on software requirements Has documented software issues discovered using a defect tracking system. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written. Willingness & ability to master complex financial subject matter with a minimum of hand-holding. Must be able to work in a dynamically changing environment, as part of a team, with minimal direction.
