Peoplesoft Functional Analyst in Chicago, IL
DTI is seeking PeopleSoft Functional Analyst for 6-12month contract opportunity with our Chicago based public-sector client.The desired person(S) wll possess e xpertise in PeopleSoft Functional Team/Project Team leadership for a large complex implementation of PeopleSoft Human Resource (HCM) Applications. Applicable experience with versions specifically for the Public Sector is a plus. Team leadership at a Public Sector entity is ideal. Strong knowledge of project planning, resource allocation, time tracking, and overall project reporting techniques and methods. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and related tools. Expertise in functional analysis in a lead role for PeopleSoft Human Resource Applications (HCM). Complete and expert functional knowledge in PeopleSoft Human Resource Applications or strong knowledge of the applications and significant experience managing PeopleSoft Human Resource Application implementation projects. Expertise with formal requirements capture and business process design methodologies including Oracle s AIM and EMM. Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of all phases of a project lifecycle development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate, implement, etc.) using formal internal and/or commercially available methodologies. Expert functional knowledge of PeopleSoft configurations and setup for Human Resources Applications in general. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Team player, self-starter, independent thinker, goal/task oriented. Specific PeopleSoft Functional Analyst Roles and Activities Provide deep and relevant business and functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft Human Resources Applications. Structure implementation efforts; lead teams and manage projects per the existing PeopleSoft Team project management approach and methodologies. Participate in business requirements definition meetings. Capture business requirements in the appropriate PeopleSoft Team document templates and methodologies. Participate in functional definition meetings. Capture functional requirements in the appropriate PeopleSoft Team document templates and methodologies. Participate in the development of system, integration and acceptance test cases. Compose test cases in the appropriate format as required. Track test execution, identify bugs, and re-test as necessary. Communicate business requirements and functional requirements to the business community and to developers.
