JOB TITLE: QA TEST LEAD-AS/400 iSeries- Supply Chain Distribution-Long Term- Chicago, IL Please read the complete job posting and if qualified, then please submit your resume. - LOCATION: CHICAGO, IL - CONTRACT: W2 or 1099 - LENGTH: LONG TERM CONTRACT POTENTIAL FOR 18 MONTHS - US CITIZENS OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS - IMMEDIATE START DATE - 11/30/09- NO 3RD PARTY VENDORS - NO HIB s sorry REQUIREMENTS: - 2 years minimum with current experience during 2009 in a fast pace environment within a Supply Chain Distribution environment with current 2009 experience using Midrange, AS/400 iSeries and current 2009 experience as a QA Test Lead with proven experience in QA Testing Methodologies, leading QA testers, QTP experience, validating and executing test cases, creating test plans and scripts, managing work loads/planning/leading QA testers, planning, validating and executing test cases with superior verbal and written communication skills. Requires superior verbal and written communication skills as a QA Test Lead with high energy, go getter attitude, ability to take the lead and does not have to told what to do and when to do it. REQUIRED ADDITIONAL - CURRENT (2009) EXPERIENCE AS A QA TEST LEAD WITHIN A "SUPPLY CHAIN DISTRIBUTION ENVIRONMEN" INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: - Required two 2 years- current 2009 experience in a Supply Chain Distribution environment using Midrange, AS/400 iSeries as a QA Test Lead during 2009. (See information listed above). - Current experience leading a team of testers, developers, and other IT members in a fast-paced, challenging, and growing environment to implement and execute test strategies, improve testing processes, standards, and automation in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience providing test leadership capabilities for multiple, simultaneous, simple and complex projects and releases in a supply chain distribution environment. - Design, develop, and execute test cases using test plans and functional specifications in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience Leading a team of Automation professionals in day-to-day test automation activities in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current Experience Participating in all phases of the test cycle, including Integration/System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience writing easy-to-understand and reusable automation test scripts in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience balancing multiple tasks simultaneously and transition between projects in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience providing leadership to develop test plans from design and requirements documents, consolidates scenarios, test cases and other input contributed by other team members in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience participating in specification, and design reviews in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience developing test scenarios using manual and/or automated testing tools such as Quality Center and QTP in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Quick Test Professional tool in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience managing testing schedule and communicating testing progress in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience performing deliverables tracking and reporting as assigned in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience as a Lead Tester within the QA Group, leading process improvements efforts for the team in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience monitoring progress of testing efforts within the team to ensure deadlines are met in a supply chain distribution environment. - Current experience providing technical guidance to QA team on how to test complicated features in a supply chain distribution environment.
