SHORT SCOOP: Degreed with 3+ years of experience in IT within a Financial environment. The Senior IT Support Analyst is responsible strong technical support for our client. This is considered a critical position and requires a strong candidate with excellent communication skills. Must know trading analytics and news services (ie CQG, Bloomberg and Reuters) and have Windows 2003/XP experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily responsibilities: Hardware set-up/support, Network connectivity, and software installation/maintenance/upgrades/backups.Troubleshooting experience with both hardware and software running smoothly. Problem resolution gained through research and documentation or elevation. Oversee the management of hardware inventory and rotationsPurchasing of IT-related items according to company guidelinesConduct IT orientation for new employees.Support/maintain internal systems (CRM, Issue Tracking).Team work requires leading additional support members.Lead cross functional projects (small to medium) with other IT team and company members. EXPERIENCE: This client is seeking someone with excellent communication skills and someone who is able to be proactive me making recommendations for improvement of business processes. This is a busy environment and the ideal candidate will be able to handle pressure and react quickly with a high level of expertise and composure! Extensive experience working with various ISVs and in-house developed trading applications is a must.Desirable - Market data, exchange and feed handler management Experience with various trading analytics and news services (CQG, Bloomberg, and Reuters).Information Technology - Windows 2003 and XP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange.
