Reource 1 is in need of a Java Programmer/QA Analyst for a 6 month (with likely extensions) contract/possible contract to hire located in Chicago, IL. This is a dual Java Programming/Automation QA Analyst role. The first month of the project the individual will be doing 70% Java Programming/30% QA, after the first month it will be 25% Java/75% QA. Must have recent, strong hands-on core Java Programming skills to be able to implement automation framework for a QA environment. Must be able to navigate Linux/Unix operating systems as well. Unix Shell Scripting is a plus but not required. Must also be familiar with Databases and SQL queries for Back End testing. Experience with FIX Protocol and TIBCO Rendevzous would also be a plus. Experience within the financial industry or any other type of high-transaction environments is preferred. The key skills required is recent core Java Programming with a background in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
