IT Operations Manager/Trading Support in Chicago, IL
*Must come from the Trading and/or Capital Markets Industry*Prestigious Global Trading Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking an IT Operations Support Manager for the Front-End Trading Systems and Applications. Candidate is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the IT support teams, including Financial Application Services, Desktop Support, Service Desk, and Purchasing. The IT Operations Manager will report to the Director of IT Services. Responsibilities: Direction setting and management for the Financial Application Services, Desktop Support, Service Desk, and Purchasing teams Implements, documents, and maintains support and implementation processes related to DRW IT Operations Escalation point for all critical trading issues Regularly interviews stakeholders to maintain alignment with operational goals Defines meaningful KPIs and related reports for IT Operations analytics Works closely with IT infrastructure teams and satellite offices to ensure efficient and effective global support services Manages IT Operations service catalog and asset management data Collaborates closely with Project Management group to manage IT Operations projects Qualifications: 4+ years managing IT support operations in a financial environment 4+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role 2+ years managing purchasing and asset management 2+ years of project and/or product management experience Previous experience working in a trading environment highly preferred Strong people management and leadership skills Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM practices Strong understand of CMDB Previous experience developing and implementing KPIs Strong understanding of networking Strong understanding of operating systems Strong customer service skills Strong reporting and analysis skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent lean documentation and knowledge management skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
