Type of Position: ContractLocation: Chicago, IL Description:The Project Planner's primary focus is to ensure the accuracy of the project schedule, metrics and reports; measure and analyze project performance on multiple on-going projects. Required Skills: Proficient in use of Primavera project management scheduling tools Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Familiar with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 2 - 4 years experience with project planning, scheduling and reporting Competent with project metric development and reporting Familiar with earned value management and critical path analysis Ability to quickly learn project processes and their incorporation into the tools utilized Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities Demonstrated skills in problem solving; working with details and dealing with ambiguity; communicating to leadership Able to work in a team environment but also independent and responsive to inputs; works well without appreciable direction Description: Facilitator of project data analysis and reporting Consultant to project team for project planning methodology deliverables Create project plans using Primavera Project Manager tool Create staffing plans using Primavera Project Manager and EcoSys FM tools Maintain plans throughout the life of projects, consistent with internal protocol Assist with re-planning, change management, and resource allocation in the project plan Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting Provide analytical review of project schedule, emphasizing items such as a critical path, earned value, burn rate and slipped tasks Monitors resource assignments for accurate allocation against staffing plan Monitors and analyzes resource utilization Updates projected/forecasted costs using EcoSys FM Track, monitor, and report on program progress and milestones Assist in Project Management process improvement To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
