Dynamic Global Trading Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a Project Manager. Candidate will support initiatives for the trading development and infrastructure and manage new IT Infrastructure/Development projects from conception to delivery and be an integral part of building extremely high quality trading environments. Agile experience is highly preferred.Responsibilities:Manage and facilitate full life cycle IT Services projectsCreate and maintain project plans and documentationFacilitate standup, planning and retrospective meetingsWork with internal departments and external vendors to obtain approvals and negotiate service agreementsCoach IT Services professionals in how to best apply project management methodologies to their organizationMaintain relationships with key trading business units and software development teams on all aspects of implementing new technology infrastructureReport on project progress and risks to managementExperience and Skills:Successful track record facilitating large and complex IT infrastructure/services projects in one or more of the following areas: network planning/upgrades, telecommunications, data center, disaster recovery and application monitoringPrevious experience working with networking technology and hardware; strong knowledge of networking concepts and terminologyStrong working knowledge of Capital Markets, trading infrastructure and life cycle. Previous experience in the trading industryStrong initiative; proven track record of taking ownership of projects through successful completionExperience leading team meetings, assigning action items and tasks, and managing overall project trackingSkilled at dependency identification and contingency planning activitiesStrong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively at all levelsFamiliarity with PMI Body of Knowledge desired; PMP certification a plusPrevious consulting experience desirableExperience working with project planning software, including MS ProjectAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilitiesExcellent organizational skills; strong attention to detailPrevious experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsBachelor's degree required*Previous experience in the trading industry and Agile experience is highly preferred.* To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
