TITLE: 10938 SR ADMINISTRATOR (Solaris And Linux) LOCATION: CHICAGO , IL SALARY: $90,000 - $120,000 Motivated? Driven? Excited about working in a fast paced environment? Our client is has an opportunity for a skilled and talented Sr. Administrator for their trading support team. Hours for this position are 7 AM to 4 PM. Responsibilities include support of the Solaris and Linux environments. This role will support the Chicago in house people and some additional remote access folks. REQUIREMENTS: . 5+ years experience in a Sun Solaris server environment. . Sun Solaris 10 experience: All aspects of component configuration, processes, and management tools. . Environment: The right background would a strong independent candidate who works and thrives either in a trading or financial business that is fast paced. . Programming experience: Includes shell, Perl or Python. . In depth knowledge of Unix Networking protocols and services. . Working knowledge of TCP/IP. . Trouble shooting: Ability to use system tools for performance analysis and find problem/resolution. . Work hours: Hours are subject to rotation of weekend pager responsibilities and after hour upgrades/applications.
