Duties: Lead a team of DBAs, providing full life cycle support for distributed database environments Lead and plan the database team s technical and operational activities Support multiple DBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Set operational goals Ensure backups, business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities Develop and maintain processes to monitor overall database environment health and performance (capacity management, system performance, tuning, storage management) Manage internal customer relationships Requirements: 7+ years experience BS Degree preferred Experience managing a team of 4+ Thorough understanding of relational database/schema design, SQL queries, query optimization and stored procedure development Strong communication and PM skills
