SHORT SCOOP: 5+ years of production Linux administration experience, with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Must have experience with TCP/IP/Routing, Server Virtualization Technology, DHCP/DNS and Samba/CUPS Administration. Must have good communication skills as well as the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will be responsible for monitoring, maintenance, backups and system administration in a production computer/virtual system environment. Will manage the Linux file/print servers, DNS/DHCP servers and analyze system faults. Will also do end user problem solving and troubleshooting.
Experience: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have a degree and 5+ years production Linux administration experience, with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Must have a working knowledge of TCP/IP/Routing networking and network administration in a heterogeneous client environment. Must have experience DHCP/DNS and administrating Samba/CUPS servers in a Windows client environment. And have working experience in virtualization technology, preferably VMware or KVM.
