Autosys Support Analyst in Chicago, IL
Description: Understand and respond appropriately to the needs of internal clients who are encountering difficulties related to AutoSys. Provide 24x7 support on a rotational basis. Test and implement new releases and patches provided by CA. Ensure accurate and timely resolution of problems & issues. Use technical and analytical expertise and system knowledge to resolve problems internally or through outside vendors. Perform necessary tests to ensure product performance, availability and reliability. Recognize potential areas of process improvement, automation, and enhanced quality assurance.
Experience: Skills: Minimum 2 years experience administering CA Autosys in a distributed environment. Strong Unix, Perl, Shell scripting skills. Strong database knowledge (Oracle). Proven technical ability. Experience and keen interest in process improvement and automation. Occasional travel may be required. Knowledge of tomcat configuration.
