6 ? 8 Months Base "SAP Client" and IMG set-ups. Daily system management (e.g., corrections and transports, OSS notes applications). Load balancing of application servers. Installation and maintenance of systems. Performs client copy and system refresh. Performance tuning of system and database reorganization. Provides advanced problem-solving and technical support. Drives design and construction of the SAP technical architecture. Performs all other duties as assigned. Provides 24x7 rotational on-call support. Portal administration: at least 2 years experience as an SAP Portal Administration. Preferably in a UNIX and ORACLE environment. Experience in administration and configuration of SAP Portal with good knowledge in single sign-on and portal security. In-depth knowledge of SAP Knowledge Management, TREX search and Collaboration rooms to effectively gather customer requirements and translate them into workable solutions. JAVA/J2EE knowledge with emphasis on JSP, Servlets, and EJB is preferred. Good written and verbal communications skills required. High degree of initiative, creativity and technical ability to function on a team is required. Must be able to provide after-hours or 24/7 support on a rotating basis or as-needed.
