Project/Program Manager
Must have 5-10 years experience as a Project Manager; global project experience preferred. Large organization experience mandatory.
Has managed primarily infrastructure projects (e.g., network deployments, technology deployments, security installations, etc.) vs. managing application development projects. A candidate who has managed only software application development projects is not a good candidate.
Information security background or experience is a plus but is not necessary.
Must be conversant in a project management methodology like PRINCE2 or PMI but does not have to be certified.
Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
Must possess a high confidence level, able to interact on a peer level with CLIENT executives, able to lead discussions and drive them to decisions
Must be able to develop solid professional working relationships with people at all levels within the organization
Must be highly professional in demeanor, behavior, and appearance
Must possess and demonstrate solid leadership skills
Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work with people from other countries.
The new PM will have two primary functions: 1.) Manage and deliver a portfolio of global information security projects on time, on specification, and within budget, and; 2.) Be the liaison for the rest of the programme in his/her part of the world. In this second capacity, the PM is literally an extension of the Corporate Information Security Office and is an ambassador for the Information Security Transition & Transformation organization.
Some international travel may be required (approximately 20%); must hold a valid passport.
