Responsibilities

Locate and develop opportunities to better leverage existing financial control systems used by the business, including General Ledger, A/R, A/P. data warehouse, and Financial Consolidations.

Coordinate implementation of required changes to the SAP and systems as necessitated by major organizational change, acquisitions, divestitures, etc. This includes, but is not limited to, creating/changing operating, management and holding companies, operating markets, regions, hierarchies, inter and intra-company relationships and reporting structures within all financial systems to correctly reflect, record and report the operations of the business unit.
Test new functionality related to use of the SAP system prior to release into production environment.
Develop tools that enable analysts to obtain financial and operational data efficiently and in a consistent manner.
Work with departments within the Controller's Area and Regional Finance Teams to identify their systems and data needs and communicate those needs to the Reporting and Production Service Support Teams at Design and coordinate applicable changes to the SAP system, financials and financial control reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred). MBA or CPA encouraged.
6-8 years-professional work experience in finance or accounting within an SAP environment required. Background in IS/IT projects related to finance a plus.
Advanced-level computer skills with MS Access and Excel, and strong computer skills with other MS Office products required. Programming skills and/or familiarity with other relational database and reporting tools a plus.
Minimum 2 years project lead experience required.
Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Proven accomplishments and initiative required.
Some travel required.
