Sr. Web Architect/Developer
The primary role of the position is to be responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of client strategic Web application. The responsibility includes analysis of existing architecture, and implementation of improvements that ensure stability and scalability. A key part of the role includes the integration of .Net and Java technologies. The requirement is for a hands on approach, as the individual is expected to implement code as well.
Essential Functions:
Expert knowledge of Web architecture including both .Net and Java technologies
Expert detailed programming knowledge related to Web applications in each of the MVC elements
Excellent analytic and communication skills
Good organizational (Project management) skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstration of a successful history of having worked on enterprise level, high visibility projects.
Demonstration of detailed technical knowledge of Web architecture
5+ years experience in Web technology, with some experience at a leadership level.
Technical skills:
Ability to quickly assess application requirements and implement n-tier applications with ASP.NET environment of IIS 6.0, understand ASP.NET Page Framework and the Web Forms Page programming model, ASP.NET server controls, HTML controls (HTC), JavaScript and ADO.NET.
Knowledge of Java based web frameworks such as Struts or Websphere portal
Strong understanding of OLTP and batch processed data architecture required for perfomant, scalable web architecture. Preferably using SQL server 2000/05.
Must Proficient in SQL. Solid experience on how to create and utilize views, stored procedures. Understanding of data modeling.
Ability to quickly assess application requirements and implement n-tier applications with .Net and Java (J2EE) environment
Able to code to MVC patterns.
Good comprehension OO Design and concepts
Solid experience in XML using XSD and XSLT
Experience with Crystal reports
Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-managing, in a fast paced development environment.
Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle and accepted practices.
Ability to conduct research and gather information.
Effective in communicating with, and interacting with fellow team members as well as management on a technical and non-technical level

All full-time employees are eligible for semi-annual bonuses. They are awarded in June and December and they are paid out in September and March. Employees must be here for 6 months to be eligible for a bonus. They are discretionary.
