Technical Support Analyst in Chicago, IL
Morton's, The Steakhouse, America's finest steakhouse, is conducting a nation-wide search for a Technical Support Analyst!!!
We are looking for someone to support local office end-users, as well as users in 71 Morton's locations. Build, configure and troubleshoot desktops, portables and printers for local and field individuals. Admin Compaq, HP and IBM servers running Windows 2003 & 2000 Server in an Active Directory environment. Install, configure and monitor server hardware and server software applications including email, anti-virus, SQL server applications, patch management, internet security, file servers and print servers. Manage backup of all systems using a central server running Veritas Backup Exec and execute offsite tape rotation strategy.
We are also looking for someone who can be the webmaster for Morton's company website, Morton's Yahoo Online Store, and Morton's Intranet. Concept, design and build online materials as well as perform all new additions and updates utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash. Hand-code new web pages and update existing pages using HTML, Javascript, DHTML, ASP and CSS requiring a strong knowledge of GUI and information design. Build and configure web servers running IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003 including email functionality and FTP, security and content organization. Assist various departments in development of creative materials and imagery for both web and print, knowledge of photography, pre-press production, photo re-touching and image file optimization desired. Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver web-based projects involving email marketing and ecommerce. Optimize public website for search engine ranking and track visitor demographics through Google Analytics as well as manage internal "Google Mini" hardware search appliance for Intranet search.
4 year degree preferred. 3-5 years experience required.
Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently. Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
