We are currently accepting resumes for a Help Desk professional.

Shift: 7:30 to 3:30

Role:
Work with 3 other members on the desktop team to support over 200 users in the office and at remote locations. This is a front line support position and will assist in handling all incoming issues to the helpdesk and will escalate to the 2nd level support as needed. This position will also assist with providing 1st level support to remote offices in offices as needed. It is preferred that the candidate have previous trading floor support experience and knows what to expect from that type of environment. Personality wise it is critical that the candidate know how to deal with traders and be professional and courteous to all internal employees. The candidate is expected to provide a prompt resolution of issues assigned to him/her as these are time sensitive environments.

Candidate will be expected to document any new installs of software as well as changes to procedures for existing documentation.

Technical Requirements:

- Knowledge of Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.

- Rudimentary knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, WINS, and DNS)

- Understanding of NT4 Domains and user authentication.

- Familiarity with Windows imaging, CQG, TT, Reuters, Bloomberg and CQG is preferred.

***Trading floor experience strongly preferred.***
