WHO ARE WE? We are an IT staffing and recruiting firm, identifying and placing talented professionals in a variety of disciplines, both in contract and direct hire positions throughout the midwest, south and mid-atlantic regions.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Technical Recruiter demonstrates expertise in process flows and subject matter expertise related to the sourcing, qualifying, submittal, and placement of candidates, primarily in permanent placement. The Technical Recruiter is competent in recruiting techniques and processes necessary to meet client requirements.

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Recruiting
BASE SALARY: $35-$50K DOE

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • 25-50% SOURCING (personally identifying candidates for open, prioritized job requisitions, first through internal database, job boards or other search processes, writing job board postings)
  • 25% QUALIFYING (communicating directly with candidates via email and phone, qualifying them for current or typical job requisitions we handle, often referred to as "Phone Screens")
  • 10-25% SUBMITTALS (writing up a candidate synopsis according to specific client submittal requirements, includes resume formatting, sending both to Business Developer)
  • 10-25% CANDIDATE MANAGEMENT (arranging interviews, preps, debriefs, additional interviews, and closings)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The individual performing this role has demonstrated competency in performing as a Technical Recruiter. BA/BS or higher education is desirable.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

Performance is primarily self-regulated and guided by the VP of Recruiting.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Primary

  • Strategize, prioritize and balance activity levels to ensure individual production levels are achieved
  • Receive and act judiciously upon guidance, and strategic direction provided by the VP of Recruiting
  • Identify candidates based on key criteria provided in job requisitions
  • Thoroughly qualify and document candidate responses when qualifying individuals
  • Prepare and debrief all candidates in a timely and professional manner
  • Directly recruit candidates using a variety of methods

Secondary

  • Secure sales leads and referrals through your candidate interaction
  • Develop complex search routines which match resumes and job requirements and identify resumes that match the job requirements
  • Assist Business Developer in resolving any Contractor/Employee issues
  • Embrace mentoring, training and learning opportunities
  • Master skill set and mature into a Senior Recruiter capacity, demonstrating professionalism, and the highest level of integrity in all actions
