A downtown Chicago client of Robert Half Technology is looking for SQL Application Developer with financial services experience. This role will consist of the following: Supporting middle-office clients in post-trade functions (mainly Tier1 banks and brokers), specifically in the futures/options arena. First-hand client contact, both via phone and on-site visits. New installations, upgrades, bug fixing/testing, as well as some remote off-hours support. This is fast-paced role in which the candidate will be asked to work with a global support team to resolve client issues as quickly and as efficiently as possible. It would be desirable for the candidate to be familiar with post-trade processing and clearing on the futures and options exchanges (CME, NYMEX, NYBOT, MFE, etc.), or to have a financial services background. 2+ years experience in a similar position is a plus.
