Siebel configuration creates technical specifications from requirements and use cases, designs enhancements and configures the Siebel application to achieve the desired results, performs unit testing and participates in system testing. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team under direction from senior developers and supervisor.
Experience: Position Requirements:

1) One year of work experience with a Bachelor Degree OR Two years of work experience with a Technical Certificate or college courses OR Three years of work experience.
2) Demonstrated experience developing business functionality through web-based applications using java, HTML, SQL, XML scripting, ASP or JSP technology.
3) Strong problem solving skills, effective verbal and written communication.
4) Knowledge of SDLC concepts, proven ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:

1) Two years of Siebel configuration development experience or three years full life cycle software development experience for a multi-tiered Object Oriented web-based application using Java.
2) CICS and MVS experience a plus.
3) Siebel 7.x certification.
4) Planning skills including use of MS Project.
5) Experience supporting call centers.
6) Knowledge of Computer Telephony Integration.
7) Expe rience designing test cases and test plans experience with EIM methodology
