Citadel Investment Group is seeking to hire an experienced C++ Developer to work in their Chicago Headquarters. Experience: 5 years minimum hands on object oriented software development experience, at least 2 years of which focusing on large scale C++ systems. Experience with Windows development tools is also a must, Linux experience preferred. Perl or Python proficiency is also required. A candidate familiar with capital markets with hands on knowledge in at least one Middle/Back-Office function (e.g. Reconciliations, Clearing, Derivatives Confirmations). 2 years minimum experience of working on a software development team of 3 individuals or more, where role included requirements gathering, design, code review and business user communication. Pluses: Special Qualification (e.g. Market coverage, Sector coverage, programming language, etc...) Technical Skill Summary: - Proficiency with C++. - Experience developing large scale distributed software systems is required. - 2 years of experience with C++ required, 5 years preferred. - 2 years of experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Java Script). - Experience working with RDBMS (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle preferred). - Experience working with mortgage servicing systems (SBO 2000) is highly preferred. - Design/Development of distributed multi-threaded server experience and N-tier architecture is desired. - Experience with Design patterns. - XML experience is preferred General Job Responsibilities: Complete system development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, test, release, and support) within one of the functionally aligned development teams that make up Citadel Investment Group, L.L.C's industry leading Operations IT team.
