Desktop Support Technician in Chicago, IL
We are currently looking for a Desktop support Technician with some network administrator responsibilities for our client in the Chicago area. This position is a Full time position that requires just the right candidate with the following skills and responsibilities: Qualifications: o 3-5 years supporting Windows-based computing systems. A+ and or MCSE certification a plus. o Excellent troubleshooting skills as it relates to PC and network issues. o Must have experience providing: technical support for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. o Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to assist users who may possess varying levels of computer experience. o Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and complete several concurrent task. Responsibilities: Respond to telephone calls, email and helpdesk request for technical support. Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution. Interface with application vendors as needed to resolve specialized issues. Perform hardware and software installations and updates. Maintain data integrity and system security for the desktop environment. Provide end user training on procedures and internal software programs.
