Our Chicago-area Financial client currently seeks a Senior Business Analyst for a
LONG-TERM Contract engagement with OPTION-TO-HIRE.

Client seeks a Senior BA with experience working with Fortune 500 type companies and is capable of working with business process flows within dynamic portal based applications specifically for the financial/insurance/investment verticals.. This company is in a growth phase and will hire the right candidate..

Skills:
* Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure their appropriate participation in all product development efforts
* conduct high-level and detail business requirements documentation for all project modules.
* Create business models and UML artifacts (Use Case Models, Activity Diagrams and Use Cases) to document the business processes.
* Lead scope review (JAD)sessions and priority setup for program planning.
* Provide leadership within the team to identify and facilitate the resolution of requirements, process, and project issues.
* Assist the Quality Assurance team when needed in the creation of plans to test business and functional processes during systems development life cycle and testing.
* Modeling: Business Process Modeling (BPM), Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Must have a good understaning of overall methodologies like: Waterfall, Iterative, Rational Unified Process (RUP), also IT Governance: Process setup and definition for requirements management and change management issues..

Technologies consists of : JAVA/J2EE, SOA, Oracle 9.i / Microsoft technologies(C#/ASP.net) within a web portal environment..
