MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Java Developer JW6237 with 6 years of web software development experience. Must have 4 years of J2EE Application Development experience. 3 years of JSP development using MVC and SQL modeling and development experience required. 3 years experience with XML configuration, parsing, transformation and unit testing framework (JUnit, Selenium) also required. Experience with Hibernate or Ibatis and Spring framework highly desired. Experience with UNIX shell scripting and Scheduler technology along with WSAD, RAD, Eclipse, ClearCase, CVS and Ant also highly desired.You will perform design and development with a team of Java/J2EE developers building an internet based payment application with both front-end web and back-end batch processing. Work with the technical lead to estimate work and create the application design based upon use cases, system requirements and bank standards for application development. Participate in component design reviews, software development, code reviews, unit test reviews and unit testing. Coach and mentor developers on the best practices with Java, J2EE, SQL and the various open source libraries used to build the application. Participate in 2nd tier production support.
