Prestigious Professional Services Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a C# Development Consultant who has or wants to develop with SharePoint. Candidate will work independently or on a team to design, build, stabilize and deploy applications using SharePoint 2010 and several core technologies including Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, XML, Web Services and C#.Other Responsibilies:* Participate in customer team meetings to gather business and technical requirements for projects* Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing project status and deliverables * Apply and share knowledge; contribute ideas and opinionsQualifications:Proficiency in the following areas is required: * General web development technologies (eg, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)* Server-side web development technologies (eg, JSP, PHP, web services)* Object-oriented design and programming* Relational database design principles and experience with an RDBMS (eg, Oracle, MySQL)* SharePoint development experience preferred but not required* Strong .NET development experience using ASP.NET, C# and related technologies * Microsoft SQL Server database design and development* Use of Team Foundation Server to complete full development lifecycle desirable* Strong communication skills and ability to present to small/medium groups * Strong customer relationship skills * Ability to work well in a team environment * Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task * High energy and a self-starter* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
