One of SGA's Major Financial Clients is seeking SR. Oracle Developer for a Contract position in Chicago, Illinois. Seeking a candidate that's prime focus will be to develop and test mission critical enterprise applications that meets the needs of the business. Candidate will adhere to Commercial Card IT coding standards, procedures, and techniques. contribute to the technical code and design documentation. A Successful candidate will be responsible for the design of complex ETL jobs, as well as conducting code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested. Seeking a candidate with an advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle., as well as up to date with current technologies including DataStage 8.x, Crystal Report 2008, Business Objects XI R2 and Oracle Rack 11g. Candidate must possess excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive and interpret business needs



Required Skills:


Oracle development experience 5+ years

Expert knowledge in Oracle 10g and above, in a Unix environment

Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring and tuning multiple Oracle databases.

Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL

Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import)

Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all procedures

Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need

Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills

Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus
