We are currently looking for an experienced Application Developer.
Location: 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ months (chance for extension/ contract to hire)
Scope of Work:
Learn the end-to-end Lockbox system for a remote location and serve as a back-up for the lead Development Analyst that supports this site. The Springfield site primarily uses the AFS Remittance software in its implementation and candidates will need to learn the capabilities of this software, how it is configured, and understand the underlying business and application work flow. Most support will be done remotely but 10% travel to Springfield is estimated. Will write various requirements, process and technical documents. Will also be assigned other implementation and support projects outside of Springfield. Experience: Please be aware that placement for this position would depend on candidate's successful completion of a complete background check.
Required Skills:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
. Minimum 5 years experience in developing, implementing, and supporting complex information systems.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Client-Server Application development experience.

Other Skills:
. Experience with VB Script is a plus.
. Experience with Version control tools like SourceSafe, Test Case management (TD/Mercury Quality Center), Reporting Generation tools (Crystal) is highly desirable.
. Experience supporting both Vendor and in-house applications desirable.
