Business Process Improvement Manager in Chicago, IL
Skilgroup, Inc. is in immediate need of a Process Improvement Manager. The experience required for this position includes: 4 years experience with a process modeling tool (IBM WBI Modeler); 4 years experience with a statistical analysis tool (Minitab); 4 years working with a project management methodology; 3 years experience using some type of quality improvement program such as Total Quality Management (TQM) or Six Sigma (working towards or close to achieving Six Sigma Black Belt); Bachelor Degree in Business or Technology and 5 years experience in a healthcare business functions or 9 years experience in a healthcare business functions; 4 years experience in business process and analytical design associated with process improvement projects; 4 years experience in leadership of process improvement project teams including phase gate approvals, financial validation and process change management; 4 years experience in project management and using a project improvement methodology and associated deliverables; 4 years experience in development and management of business metrics; 4 years experience in the completion of all process phases for at least 3 process improvement or process reengineering projects; 3 years experience of statistics and statistical analysis for decision making; 3 years experience with the ability to work cross-functionally with executive management and functional leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issues; Completion of Six Sigma Green Belt training. This PM role manages the integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, and risk throughout the life of the project utilizing their skills as well as leveraging the skills of other resources. This role will coordinate with Team Leads that may include Health Care, Information Systems, Shared Service Practices, and Lines of Business. This position is responsible for partnering with the Process Leaders and Process Stewards in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing Process Improvement and Process Reengineering opportunities within a Super Process area; providing leadership, guidance, and support for Business Process activities and methods to the Super Process Leaders and Process Stewards, and leading team activities, deliverables, issue resolution, and resource planning efforts; assisting in the development and evolution of the HCSC Business Process Management Methodology and ensuring appropriate application of best practice standards, guidelines, procedures and tools for analyzing, designing, and implementing Business Process initiatives, Process redesign and continuous Process improvement; analyzing process data to deliver project value to the organization and for understanding their process from start to finish, the measurements that are important to that process, and ultimately optimizing the process to improve the measurements; understanding how the process works and the opportunities for change; and creating a process monitoring structure for continuous process improvement. This is a permanent position for a health care client services organization, located in Chicago.
