Mainframe Developer The effort will be to assist with the move of Image and other data from a mainframe environment to a midrange environment running AIX and to develop a set of programs to assist in that effort. Although mainframe experience is highly desirable, the programming efforts will be to understand the functionality of the programs that reside on the mainframe today and convert those functions to an AIX or Windows environment. Mainframe experience in COBOL, Sort/Merge, TSO and JCL is highly desirable. The candidate should have ability to work with AIX/UNIX scripting and have the ability to develop Java or Visual Basic programs on AIX and Windows servers. A knowledge of Content Manager or Content Manager on Demand would be a plus, but not required. The candidate should have excellent communication and problem resolution skills and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
