The Data Analysts are a critical component in Data Maintenance..ie Keepers of the Data New Security setups, Research , Report generation and dissemination , troubleshooting and coordination among other IT entities are just a few of the critical duties needed in this role. Data Analysts Tasks - Manually setup entities (i.e. accounts) - Upload multiple entities (through CSV/Message Center interface) - create and maintain entity lists - create and maintain entity composites - create and maintain tax rate tables for entities - Add/Change brokers - Add/Change custodians - Add/Change security prices - Manually set up securities - Monitor trade streams in Message Center - Adding a factor to an asset-backed security - Adding a variable coupon rate to a fixed income security - Researching and resolving some security setup issues like Last Coupon Dates, accruals, margin calculations, pricing, etc. - researching and resolving missing or erroneous prices (use Bloomberg, Reuters, AIP, interface with traders and portfolio managers) - Researching and resolving data discrepancies between Eagle and other systems like AIP, Charles River, Alpha, etc.
