We are looking for a subject matter expert in capacity and capability planning who will perform requirements analysis, methodology development, and solution design assistance.

Tasks:

- Understand and assess current capacity configuration management state
- Ceate and maintain project charters, project status reports, and briefings
- Best practices identification, research, and analysis
- Facilitate meetings and communication supporting deliverable objectives
- Lead the creation/development of interim solution that incorporates a defined, repeatable, capacity and capability analysis and documentation process around non-functional requirements for development work.
- Assist in creation/development of interim solution defining service windows around both functional applications and foundational services
- Assist in creation/development of communications and training plans supporting implementation of enhanced or new processes around capacity, capability and service window management
- Take business direction from the System Management team

Deliverables:
- Non-Functional Templates for detailing capacity, redundancy, and resiliency requirements
- Non-Functional Templates for detailing application dependencies based on functional needs and anticipated technical design. Check point documentation to be used throughout development cycle to confirm dependencies to include a post deployment check out.
- Model for determining redundancy and resiliency requirements during development definition phase
- Briefing and training aids supporting communication of new or expanded processes around capacity, redundancy, and resiliency requirements analysis and documentation
- Story board design for collaboration site supporting new or enhanced processes around capacity, redundancy, and resiliency.
- Assist in coordination and implementation of this site and any supporting training (LMS, briefings, communications).

Desired Skills and Certifications

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- 5 years of capacity (technical) and capability (availability, resiliency, redundancy) management experience.
- Project management experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Working knowledge of ITIL (Foundational certification or equivalent work experience)
- Joint Application Development (JAD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) skills useful
- Familiarity with industry standard capacity and capability practices (computation of availability, resiliency, and redundancy, i.e. five 9s)
- Standard MS Office/Project/Visio skills
