The Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) Analyst will grow and succeed in this role by:
> Serving as a partner to the HFM manager and expert to Consultants, Controllers, Management, Peers and Team Members.
> Being mentored by the HFM manager to speak the HFM language in order to troubleshoot, design and perform quality checks.
> Partnering with the HFM manager to assess the impact of changes of other financial systems and/or related processes to the HFM application and related processes.
> Working with the HFM manager to lead software upgrades, patches, testing and additional rollouts.
> Being highly familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
> Creating training materials and helping drive the HFM user experience from start to finish.
> Developing and implementing BEST practices including month and closing procedures and metadata maintenance.
The HFM Analyst must exhibit excellent communication and persuasion skills when dealing with Consultants, Management, Peers and Team Members. These skills include:
> Ability to step up and partner with the HRM manager and users to resolve all issues.
> Ability to communicate HFM requirements to Consultants and Management.
> Ability to stay organized, develop and maintain excellent Relationships.
> Ability to remain diplomatic and communicate clearly during high impact situations.
> Ability to work effectively with finance and systems personnel at a corporate level.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
Minimum work experience required:
5-7 years - implementing HFM and in Finance or Accounting
