Type: 6 months contract opportunity
This PM will be responsible for managing a team of 4-6 people supporting 6 production applications.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate analysis and resolution of all Production Support issues.
- Coordinate/manage resolution of all application, reporting, or data quality related issues.
- Respond to 7007* / P1 Impact pages.
- Coordination of Disaster Recovery activities.
- Coordination of application checkouts and regression testing.
- Act as liaison between Applications Development team and other IT teams to facilitate shared communication between teams.
- Communication to Applications Development regarding process changes, required remediation and other pertinent process communications.
- Organize weekly line of business status calls and status reports.
- Coordination of Change Control meeting participation and information communication.
- Escalation of issues to senior management.
- Review Process, Architecture, Change Control and other communication documentation (status reports, meeting minutes, Sharepoint sites etc) to capture any new or pertinent information that should be communicated to the Application Development teams.
- Plan out production application maintenance releases and communication of application releases plan to senior management.
- Manage/facilitate application work log updates and discussions with the line of business customers.
- Coordination of team Sharepoint site updates for applications and communication.
- Provide feedback when needed for project teams on processes and deliverables.
- Screen and interview potential candidates when needed.
- Coordinate and plan application remediation tasks as well as application retirement tasks.
- Ensure SECDM, compliance, and other official application documentation is up to date and posted/forwarded to the appropriate Sharepoint sites or contacts.
- Provide feedback on new project feasibility and estimates.
- Coordinate all funding and project estimation requests for production enhancement requests.
- Facilitate impact analysis for production changes announced by other teams.
- Determine resource availability for new requests.
- Manage all aspects of production deployments.
- Experience managing a distributed team with offshore participation.
