SkilGroup, Inc. is in immediate need of a Security Consultant. Qualified candidates must have experience with ASP hosting, F5, UNIX, and WAN, as well as strong security experience. HIPPA is a plus. We are looking for individuals with 5+ years of enterprise security consulting experience who are motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced startup culture who is a smart risk-taker marked by creativity and strong problem solving skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are required as is a BA/BS in information technology or related field, or equivalent training. Candidates must have expertise with tools used for security auditing, vulnerability assessments, network and application assessment and hardening. Check Point and F5 experience a plus as are SNORT, Nessus, Sniffer technologies, Red Hat Linux, Solaris, Entercept, RSA, Secure Computing, Content Filtering, IPSEC, SSL, SSH, VPN, Routing, WAN, Encryption and PKI. The Security Consultant will assist with high-level network and security architecture and design and implement enterprise security solutions. The consultant will present technical and architecture solutions to management and executive staff, work in a client support role for pre-sales and proposal delivery and perform security audits and vulnerability assessments. This position is for a consulting company. The initial engagement will be in the south suburbs, with the possibility of other locations in Chicagoland. Travel is also a possibility.
