Location: Chicago Pay: $110,000 – $130,000 Description: The .Net Application Architect’s primary responsibility is to understand business requirements and design a solution that meets those requirements for the complete range of software products.The Application Architect will participate in the overall product development lifecycle including the analysis, design and implementation of client software solutions, and help align functional requirements with the software architecture. Experience: Requirements: 6+ years of hands on product development experience with commercial software and 2+ years experience leading design efforts. Needs to have a strong background in application development. Also, must have demonstrated ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for evaluation of new architectural strategies. Have demonstrated success and proficiency in the .NET Framework 1.1, C#, T-SQL, SQL Server 2000, JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSLT, ASP.Net 1.1, ADO.Net. Demonstrated success and proficiency in designing n-tier solutions with an asp.net presentation layer and SQL Server database layer. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree.
