Insurance provider located in downtown Chicago is searching for and Network Analyst with a strong Security background. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of a secure network infrastructure, which will maximize the use of existing equipment and avoid technological obsolescence. As such this individual will be responsible for proper project reporting per the guidelines established by the Management. This position is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours with a full benefits package. Salary will depend on prior experience, but can range from 70-85k. Candidates will need to be at an expert level with Cisco Routing and Switching devices. They would also need candidates that have plenty of experience with Firewalls such as PIX or Checkpoint. You will be responsible for monitoring Network Security Devices, Threat Awareness Services, and Incident Documentation. Significant experience in Network, Firewalls and Host Intrusion Detection Administration is required. You will also be responsible for developing security procedures and methods necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and to protect the system from unauthorized or accidental access or destruction. While the majority of this position will be dealing with the Networking devices and Security procedures, client will also need candidates that have experience with Windows 2k/2k3 Servers. You may at time need to help the team with issues that arise with Active Directory. While it is not required, any experience with Lotus Notes will be looked at favorably.
