Position - Data WareHouse Tester Duration - 5 month contract Location -Chicago,IL 60601 Start - ASAP Candidates authorized to apply for this position ( US citizen, Green card ) Please forward your resume to BrindaPatel@ Description :- Overtime Exempt: Yes ETL QA Tester/Data Warehouse Tester MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH DATA WAREHOUSE QA AND ETL TOOLS LIKE INFORMATICA Understand the business rules/transformations which are involved in developing the source to target mappings/jobs, should be able to write test cases to reflect those business rules, be able to build data sets for testing, and be able to validate the mappings by running test cases and checking if the data in the target tables populates correctly. Prior experience working on at least two data warehouse projects, and a solid understanding of QA methodology and the SDLC. Required Experience: Experience: 5+ years progressively more responsible experience in quality assurance techniques (manual, black box, white box) is required Must have strong ETL Testing experience (prefer Informatics) Business Intelligence testing experience (Business Objects) preferred Strong user of SQL, UNIX Ability to run database queries, read and create SQL procedures/scripts and interpret results . Must have strong knowledge of Clear Quest or other defect tracking systems Experience in insurance industry environment is highly desirable Must able to discuss issues and defects in detail with business analysts and developers Must able to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner and have excellent communication skills Extreme attention to detail Tasks: Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Data Test projects from test phase through deployment Track and report defects and verify resolved issues Attend project meetings and conduct ambiguity reviews of Business Requirements Provide project updates to team members on a regular basis To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
