As a key member of the development and application team, produces modifications to a vendor purchased Web-based application in a multi-tier environment. Participates in the integration of a Web product with other applications. Steps through the code of a vendor purchased application and its associated back-end processes in order to resolve production issues. Performs tasks associated with analyzing requests. Produces normal request analysis deliverables by writing business specifications based on requirements for clients; develops screen mock-ups accurately displaying needed changes in the Web-based user interface; produces functional specifications; and creates test cases to ensure changes are in-line with requirements. 60% Produce programming modifications to a vendor purchased web-based application in a multi-tier environment. Such experience should include the integration of a web product with other applications. Changes must adhere to documented business rules, maintain agreed upon system design, and ensure referential data integrity. Candidate must a have a firm understanding of relational databases and demonstrates the ability to create complex queries to pull exact data: 1) work on projects requiring extensive data mapping; 2) work on modifications requiring an understanding of metadata concepts; and 3) use and support reporting tools such as Business Objects. 30% Produce analysis request deliverables by writing business specifications based on requirements for clients; developing screen mockups accurately displaying needed changes in the web-based user interface; producing functional specifications; and creating test cases to ensure changes are in-line with requirements.
