Microsoft Office Trainer / Documentation Specialist / IT analyst - Microsoft Office Trainer

Position Objective: The IT Analyst is responsible for assisting in the documenting, testing, installation, training and continued support of assigned computer hardware and software systems in order to meet the process, efficiency and reporting requirements of the company.

Position Responsibilities
A. Testing, installing and supporting hardware and software as assigned by the National IT Manager and or Director of National IT.

1. Maintain and have a complete understanding of the list of user requirements and open issues for each program.

2. Develop plans for testing, installation and rollout concepts for all national programs.

3. Test all new programs and hardware, as well as program updates in the corporate lab followed by parallel and live tests in corporate, divisions and/or stores.

4. Test to assure all national programs meet company requirements for security and integrity of information.

5. Prepare all program update bulletins, as well as all corresponding program updates, for distribution to corporate, divisions and/or stores.

6. Coordinate and track the initial rollout of new programs and further distribution of updates to ensure they are performed in a timely and consistent manner.

7. Provide first level support to corporate, divisions and/or stores and contact IIT or appropriate contractors when 2nd level support is required.

8. Attend project or committee meetings as required.

B. Assist with the training of corporate, division and/or store users to ensure a consistent understanding and use of assigned programs.

C. Prepare complete user documentation for each program that can be easily read and understood by the user. (Assist multiple departments with creation and maintenance of documentation and training manuals, etc.)

1. For national programs, adapt or write user manuals.

2. For international programs, adapt program update bulletins and user manuals provided by IIT to meet country language and country specific requirements.

Experience: Job Specifications:

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science Degree
Microsoft Office Specialist &#150; Master Certification required
Minimum 2 years relevant IT experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a support or customer service oriented position

Additional Knowledge Specifications

Software Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of DOS commands

Expert level user of Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Microsoft Office Specialist &#150; Master Certification required

Software program installation, update, and management

Hardware Knowledge:

PC/Desktop Hardware & Software &#150; Basic Skills

Internet Knowledge:

Familiarity with Internet Explorer and other web browser programs
