Citadel Investment Group is seeking to hire an experienced Trade Support Analyst to work in their Chicago Headquarters.

Position: Trade Support Analyst

The Trade Support Analyst will be responsible for providing support to users of Front Office systems within the organization. The successful candidate will be working very closely with the traders and will have the opportunity to learn business while providing support to FO users. This position provides support for the current trading applications, while performing deployment tasks such as software installations, patch upgrades, code deployments, coordinating with external application vendors on software changes, and other related tasks.



Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience of application support and administration
• 2-3 years UNIX/Linux, Perl , Scripting, problem solving & support experience in a financial markets environment
• Prior experience supporting traders, trading desks is highly desirable although candidates with strong communication lacking front-office experience will be considered.
• Experience managing the production & support on key financial markets systems maintenance, bug-fixing, development, code enhancement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of C++ is desirable

• Responsible for the production environment for core business applications across front office covering electronic trading, pricing and risk systems across multiple product groups
• Day-to-Day Support of Production Environment: hands-on assistance to ensure issues are handled quickly and effectively
• Pro-actively managing resolution of issue
• Analysis and Small Project Development: work with the business to generate small-scale development and/or configuration changes.
• Escalate hot issues pro-actively and ensure all stakeholders are kept abreast of issues and development.
• Manage direct communication with FO users of respective business.
• Work on tactical technical solutions for business.
• Assist DR/BCP planning and execution for respective businesses.
• Develop Tools to manage the production environment.
• Provide trader with Tactical fixes and enhancements
