Overview:

This position is to be 100% hands-on development on our client's web applications and the associated services and database. The Software Engineers will be building new features for existing products as well as developing for new products. The role is primarily responsible for coding features of the product line.



Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and implement new products and new features for the existing systems.

- Design, build, and implement graphical user interface for the web applications.

- Design, build, and implement the code for the applications.

- Work with the Program Managers and Software Engineers to turn requirements into code

- Maintain configurations and settings of the web servers

Working Conditions

- Move intermittently during working hours.

- Is subject to frequent interruptions.



Qualifications:

- Extensive support and customer service experience with a results-oriented attitude

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

- 1+ years C# and ASP.NET

- 1+ years ADO.NET

- 1+ years ASP, VBScript & Jscript

- 1+ years SQL Server (especially stored procedures and user-defined functions)

- 1+ years XML, XSLT, XSD development

- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

- Strong sense of ownership and good follow through skills required.

- Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills required.

- Ability to work consistently without requiring constant supervision and take initiative to generate new ideas to improve department operations.

- Strong analytical skills to facilitate code design and impact analysis.

- Excellent organizational skills with an attention for detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.

- Must have a good sense of humor, patience and a positive attitude.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Must be able to work after hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Strong unit testing knowledge and skills.

- Ability to manage multiple/demanding tasks is required

- Willingness to learn

- Must have high energy level, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

- Professional interaction with internal/external customers (via phone, email or other messaging tools).

- Knowledge of Internet, Windows and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point) and databases

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, a strong sense of ownership, good follow-through skills, troubleshooting ability and problem-solving skills and generate new ideas to improve departmental operations.

- Excellent organizational skills with an attention for detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.

- Must have a good sense of humor, patience and a positive attitude

- Willingness to travel up to 30% and ability to secure credit card

- Must be able to work after hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed)

- College Degree required

- Previous system (software, web or healthcare CRM-oriented) implementation experience a plus



Desired Experience:

- 1+ years SOAP development

- 1+ years Nunit

- Windows Services development using .NET

- SQL Server Reporting Services development

- MS Application Blocks (data and exception management)
