Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as agile project lead and manager for the development of features in the product line. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who has chosen to move into the management-side of development.



Responsibilities:

- Serve as project manager in an agile software development process

- Manage Release Tasks/Defects

- Running standup and iteration meetings

- Work with team members to remove roadblocks that may cause process delays

- Track burn down and other matrixes on release and iteration progress

- Manage the daily builds and deployments to the testing environment

- Serve as a lead member of the technical team

- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

- Strong facilitation skills/experience leading meetings

- Experience training staff and mentoring



Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Math or equivalent work experience

- Project Management skills a must.

- 10+ years technical development experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Possess the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

- Must be knowledgeable of Internet and Microsoft Office Products.

- Strong sense of ownership and good follow through skills required.

- Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills required.

- Ability to work consistently without requiring constant supervision and take initiative to generate new ideas to improve department operations.

- Excellent organizational skills with an attention for detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology

- Must have a good sense of humor, patience and a positive attitude.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn

- SCRUM experience preferred.
