QA Analyst ensures that custom LAN-based and Web-based software products developed at the Company conform to stated requirements for these products and ensures that these products introduce no unintended side effects as a result of their use. To verify that content, navigation, and functionality changes on the Company Web site are consistent with intended changes. The QA Analyst conducts software functionality tests as part of the annual disaster recovery testing exercises, test security patches for operating system, database, and PC application software in order to determine if such patches would adversely affect the Company software environment, and verify that Company software will function properly with upgrades to system software (e.g. Windows, Oracle) and packaged applications (e.g. Microsoft Office). Experience: This QA Analyst role requires a B.S. degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience, 1+ years of experience with software configuration tools in a Microsoft Windows client/server environment, and 1+ years of experience planning and executing tests of custom software.
