Our client is looking for a QA Analyst with a minimum of two years of experience in shell scripting, in a Linux/Solaris environment. The ideal analyst must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA. He/she must have strong documentation skills, methodologies and writing functional requirements. The ideal QA Analyst must have strong business skills. Candidates with trading experience are preferred.

The QA Analyst will develop test strategies, test plans and test cases. He/she will create and execute test cases for Regression, Functional and Production testing as well as produce testing scenarios and test scripts for all system testing. The QA Analyst would document Test Plans and test results. This person must have excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate with both technical (developers) and non-technical (customers, management) and possess strong attention to detail. Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred. The QA Analyst should have UNIX environment knowledge. He/she will have to coordinate tests with external vendors and customers. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong desire for challenging opportunities. Certified Internal Systems Auditor is a bonus.
