My client, a downtown insurance company seeks a Senior level ASP.NET/VB.NET Developer to join their team on a full- time basis. The Sr. .NET Developer will work with the users to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, create use-case models and specifications, design and populate requirements repositories, establish requirements traceability and IT Application Development team. Provide technical solutions that meet user needs. Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology initiatives; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications; negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation; recommend buy vs. build decisions.
Experience: Candidates MUST HAVE 3+ years of professional experience developing in ASP.NET and VB.NET. They must also have 3+ years experience with SQL Server and XML/ XSLT/XSD. Experience with a Business Process Management system is preferred.
