The Software Designer's responsibility is to design and prototype functionality of web applications developed by the team. This includes eliciting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional software designs. Specific activities will require taking the market requirements from product management and designing the product functionality and look using universal cascading style sheet skin system, prototyping new and modified application interfaces, and creating professional icons and other graphics. This role requires experience in creating functionally and graphically advanced web interface components for intranet or client facing applications utilizing HTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, and AJAX. Experience with commercial software is also desired.
