Our client downtown is seeking a SQL DBA for software and applications that were created onsite. The candidate will provide system administration duties such as; monitoring, maintenance, documentation, validation and any enhancements required. Consulting with internal staff & vendors will also be required of the DBA to determine best practices for the environment. Other duties will include, but not limited to; requesting changes, updates and modifications to database structure and data & ensuring database system availability. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. The candidate should have SQL 2000 & 2005, clustering experience, log shipping, replication, DTS, SSIS, experience writing complex queries and stored procedures.
