JOB DESCRIPTION: -TSM Administration, Steady State Support -Storage Management (Backup and Restore) Job Description Accountable for maintaining a large Enterprise Backup environment. Responsible for Starting and running backup/restore applications on the system, monitoring job results, Troubleshooting problems, metrics and testing of procedural documentation. An effective team member must be a highly motivated, self-sufficient person who not only Understands technology, but can understand the big picture and must be an excellent communicator and process driven. Skills and Knowledge: 1. Experience with Storage Products, specifically TSM in a large enterprise distributed environment. 2. Experience configuring/problem determination of backups for Windows, HP UX, Unix and AIX. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Handling customer requests such as data restores, setting up new backup schedules. 5. Experience with client and server configurations. 6. System Administration background including network experience as required. 7. Excellent problem resolution skills. 8. Able to be in the on-call rotation: mandatory requirement. 9.
